Tips to make life happier.

Tips to make life happier.

Source: - http://thelinkpaper.ca/?p=35147

1. Keep your self esteem high (if you want people to respect you; first respect yourself):
There are a lot of times when we feel that others are better than us, maybe, but how does that stop us from achieving our goals? coz we are way better than others in some aspects too... So rather than telling ourselves that we arent better, we should concentrate on our expertise and boost up that level of self esteem.

support/education/feedforward/

2. Take feedback analyse it and apply feed forward (don't neglect all feedback, some may help):
Everyone gives feedback (Directly or indirectly by commenting on our lifestyle), there is nothing to be angry or irritated about it, because they are entitled to their opinions; but that doesnt mean all they say are pure words of wisdom, accept the ones you feel are needed for self improvement, others just trash them.

3. Always ask people for feedback, and always go for the critics, not the positives, bcoz your plan Is self development, not boasting.
Asking feedback is always good; if you love something and need to master it then the only way is hardwork and feedback along with feedforward (Not taking feedback and doing nothing about it wont help, you have to work on it).

4. Avoid gossip of any kind (puts you in trouble always, if not now then in the future):
You heard a gossip? then go and tell the person you heard it about, if you can take it to the grave then do so...but "DONT spread it". What you heard may not be the total truth or may not even be true at all.. in which case spreading it will only make it worse, as rumors are like chinese whisper / Grapewine communication, you only make friends for that moment, glory for that moment, but people will eventually leave you stranded.

5. React wisely:
Someone spoke ill about you or gossiped at your cost, then don't react first, understand the reason behind it, dont just get angry on that person and start a word fight, ask him / her directly and wait for their reply, look at their reaction, try to analyse, if nothing makes sense then that person was jealous, so just enjoy that and move on.

6. This too Shall Pass:
Keep a note to self at all times "this moment shall pass" read it, understand it and live it. It reminds us that time never stops for anything, anyone or anytime. So when you are the happiest, you'll know that it'll pass, when you are sad it helps, when you are low and depressed it helps. In general it helps you to stand on the ground at all times (If you are flying too high or if you've fallen on the ground, brings you back to your feet)

7. Respect is the Key:
No matter who the other person is always show respect ( don't respect for the position, respect the person) all work hard for their earnings, some get lucky and others don't, so don't laugh or make fun at their expense. (bcoz Fate my friend is like wind, it can change direction at anytime and towards anyone)

8. Lesson from Nature:
Mother nature has abundance knowledge and wisdom (only for those who are hungry for knowledge), if we just sit back and observe the nature, it teaches us lot more than we've ever learnt..
Learn from a tree, even if you chop it or burn it down it always has hope, not scared to start over again..

9. Believe it:
believe in yourself, coz if you don't then no one else will..
We always feel that we need someone or something to motivate us..why do we feel that? Maybe because we don't believe in yourself..the only motivation we need is internal... We believe in excuses more than ourselves...something went wrong or we made a mistake, our immediate thinking mechanism is to blame..
Why is it difficult for us to accept the mistake and believe in not making it again?

10. Uniqueness:
know urself to create a USP for self...
don't follow others USP bcoz it may not suit you...you may become like them but still can't succeed bcoz of the reason "its not wat u say, its how u say it creates an impression..
figure out your USP instead of copying others..
this can be done by moving out of the comfort zone and trying things not tried before..
bcoz only when u get out of comfort zone will you understand the value of yourself and will be able to understand your strengths n weaknesses
don't be a FIT WELL (Frog in the well)

11. Judge not:
Try not to judge a person, not all who laugh are happy and not all who are sad in pain. Even if u judge(human nature can't avoid) keep it to self, you don't have to convert people to your opinion.
Judging only let's you see the person from the angle of your judgement, when he can be an awesome personality altogether...

So give people a chance and you'll get impressed by them, coz all have learnt their lesson.. And their teaching would be their way of behaviour...

Everyone has something to offer... So take it happily...

12. Everyone matters:
Never try and change people`s behaviour or opinion, you wouldn't change it yourself, so why will they. Everyone has the right to have their own opinion, so respect that.

We often believe that we are right, we know it soo much that we dont care about others opinion.. Well there is a wise saying " I would rather be happy, than right at any point in life".

We live for happiness, being right is good but being happy is better.. So never stop people from being happy (coz that is the best medicine)

13. Problems fear smile:
Secrets out, yes...
All our problems fear something and that something is easily accessible - "SMILE"
When we smile all our problems start biting their nails and get nervous, coz they know that their time has come...
So SMile to all your problems is the best reason for the right solution.

Always try to make people smile, be the reason for that smile.. try to make a new person smile everyday. (the real pursuit of happiness lies in other peoples happiness)

14. Make Mistakes:

No one was happy by our mistakes and the result, we make more mistakes on the same scene..

Reason - we dont stop and understand as to why we made that mistake in life, or how could we have avoided it, we are soo busy and adamant about the mistakes we've made that the learning goes to 0%..

What if we think as to why we made the mistake, make self analysis and feedback along with feed forward.. we learn quicker and we avoid repetition of it...

Never be scared to do mistakes, that's the best way to learn... but always remember not to repeat them.

15. Be Positive:

And no am not talking about the blood group ;)..

Our body and our nature is energy driven... and there are 2 major energy widely accepted - Positive and Negative...

Positive energy helps us be positive and think upright with low fears and helps us take wise decisions.

Negative energy makes us mistake prone and gets us into depressions, it also helps create doubts and low self confidence.

Have you ever wondered, when your heart is filled with love and joy everything that happens around you (Be it be bad or good), you take it positively.

16. Live and Let Live:

We are people who want to convert others to our beliefs... Why do we have to convince people to change?? Why cant we just live and let other live by their values??

Your life, your style... Why comment about others style when you'll get offended for the same.

Lets try and adopt a style where we accept all kinds of people for who they are and not who you want them to be (thinking that they need help and trying to change others for good isnt really a good idea, if you ask me)

Never comment on anyone's lifestyle or habit (there might be a hidden painful reason for the same), we never know for sure what have they gone through in life. (its easy to say that he made a wrong decision and took a wrong path, because we did not try that persons shoes, what looks simple and easy is never really easy).

17. Use your own advice:

We love giving advice, as its easy and makes us look wise (also we know that we will gain attension when the advice works)..

Its not bad to give advice... but many a times our own advice isnt followed by us, in which case its difficult to lead others by example...

Lets try leading life by advices which we plan on giving others, so they will learn by example and not words.

Not everyone has the options you feel they have... everyone selects the best option for themselves..so stop feeling that a person would've done this instead of doing that...

You don't have the privilege to decide for others.

18. Happiness:

When asked what gets me happy, I would say that its not the riches in the world or the appraisals at work, or the recognition that gets me happy... its always the simple and easyily found things that get me happiness (like the laugh of a child, being with friends making them laugh, enjoying a delicious meal with my sister, cooking, writing, being with nature, smiling at others and when that smile returns etc).

There is always a reason to be happy. find that reason and be happy.

19. Happiness Formula:

Yes there is a formula for happiness, and i have even mentioned it in my earlier blogs.

Its, Happiness = Realizing that a goal / expectation is achieved (Divided by) Number of expectations or goals in life.

We always forget the expectations we had once we accomplish it... like when i was a kid i wanted to be a person who travels around... and when i did travel i set some new goals and completely forgot to sit and realize that my childhood dreams have come true...

The joy you get in this is more than just happiness (and that too in just acknowledging the fact that you have accomplished).

Lower expectation and increase acknowledging accomplishment ( reaching a goal always makes you happy) live the moment don't forget your goals (childhood goals).

20.  Dont pull people down:

A small story,. 2 people were fishing in a lake for crabs... the fisherman used to catch the crab and put them in an open bucket.. the other fisherman (relatively new to the field) asked him to cover the bucket to protect his catch..

To which the fisherman asked the new guy to observe the bucket and his catch..

What he observed was, that the crabs tried to get out of the bucket climbing slowly and using good strength to do the same... but the other crabs in the bucket pulled the one crab puttin in efforts to escape,. this way neither of them got out alive.

So lets not be a crab, but help others come up in life which helps us in return to be a part of their success,,

Thank you for reading this long message on Happiness....

Lets be happy... Lets put a smile on everyone's face around us ;)

A Ship Without a Captain….

A Ship Without a Captain….

How are you??

Sorry it took long time… writing after a break of 6 months… Well I felt like a captain without a ship :)

We all have heard of the phrase “A ship without a captain”…. Well I feel I got the captain home and found my ship was stolen…aarrgh..

Was all set to make the best dish of my life; had all the ingredients in place:

  1. 2 Table spoons of an amazing Idea.
  2. 3 cups of Confidence in that idea.
  3. 1 cup of trust in a very good friend who loves challenges just as much
  4. And mainly a pinch of uniqueness planned up.

But you see, To make money you need a major ingredient, which I missed.. its “Money”….

Well this dish could’ve run without it… and would’ve given an amazing aroma with taste, but unfortunately it was prepared and wasn’t served, due to which no one tried it… and hence dint work out…

So what do we do when things don’t work out?? Quit?? Nope… well am a stubborn person… I will try until either one of us gives up me or the idea {and between u guys and me..honestly I never give up ;)}

The issues I face involve the routine… the everyday needs… the important non-neglectable needs.. Which needs money and instead of waiting (My Mistake = not wrong, but a learning) I got to work out something that’ll help me solve the issue (everyday needs).

Why I aint giving up, answering that:
  1. The Idea is me, and if I give up then nothing in life makes sense.
  2. Im the horse I would always (ALWAYS) bet on… coz no matter what am gonna win my race.
  3. This is happiness… and I will do it with a smile on my face always…Nothing else would get me this happy in life.
  4. And after learning from my mistake, if I don’t show it… then how’ll people know that it was really a mistake and not failure??
  5. Falling is easy.. and I hate easy… I want to get up and run..
  6. Life without Challenge will get you old faster :).

So my plan adds my learning in the previous recipe and makes it again… what addition I gotta make?? Well I definitely need a system in place… and few other things which I have thought about,..

I’ve started cooking again guys… and its gonna be one hell of a dish… yummmm.

So I got my Captain and put my trust in my co-captain as well… now we’re gonna hunt the stolen ship and get it back… will take time yes… will take effort yes… but it’ll be one hell of an adventure…

Kodachadri - Exploring a New Route

The View of Beauty...
Hi People,

How y'all..

Let me start this blog by explaining why I needed a break.

Joined a cool job, was engrossed in it for 3 months continuously with minimal break. Hence decided to break free and planned a trip which would get me rejuvenated..

The initial plan was to go to Ombattu gudda (tough route – an amazing and mind blowing trek, but unfortunately there were permission issues and decided that I would reconsider this place after a little more planning)

Finally decided on Kodachadri (I’ve been here before but I wanted a break so bad!).

After a short planning, I got my backpack ready and headed to the bus stand.. Spoke to the conductor in the bus and got info on new route. Direct Bus to Nittur and a new route for the trek.. Damn I was up for it…

Boarded a normal KSRTC red bus (not really that great, but since I was excited I didn’t feel the pinch). The bus started off @ 9:15PM(the bus made a looooot of pit stops ahead in the journey, making it a loooooong trip).

I slept through the journey, woke up couple of times to check how far I was and returned back to my sweet slumber.

Finally the bus reached Nittur @ 7:00AM, I got down from the bus and went straight to the closest hotel (Sri Vinayaka Hotel) to jump on the food & re-energize myself. Had amazing Mangalore Buns in the hotel and freshened up.

After some walk I saw a board – “Hidlumane Falls”, was curious so asked the hotel staff for more info. He informed that the falls was enroute to Kodachadri and it’s just another route to the hill.
The Turn to the Start
I was all ears to everything he said and asked for his help for the directions and started my journey towards it..

He had asked me to head 1.5 kms in the tar road and turn left after the newly constructed bridge… (I walked for more than 2 kms).

2 way
Started the trek finally, the jungle, the soothing music (birds chirping, sound of the wind kissing the leaves, movement of the thin branches etc etc).. Found a 2 way road and took the wrong route (ended up reaching a house and they helped me with the right direction, although they were surprised when I told them that I was alone and planning on Hidlumane falls route)

After being guided to the right route kept walking, until I met a small store which had some snacks and butter milk to drink, I bought some snacks and asked directions to the Waterfall..

The Route I walked on
Tough Rote Walk
This was a little tricky as I went to the falls 3 times and returned, I assumed that there was a route from the falls. So I returned to the shop and asked him the route, he said that I would have to walk across the falls itself (Wasn’t that a very steep climb!). I went back and started trekking across the slippery rocks helping the water fall down, I fell couple of times (its a rock that’s slippery!A fall is a must), then I decided rocks weren’t the option, so I headed out to the jungle attached to the falls and it was quite steep. I was trekking by holding on to the tree branches / roots etc, couple of times those barks and roots broke or got uprooted and I almost fell (wow that was scary, my heart skipped a beat as it was a direct fall on the rock from quite a height, picturing this gets me the chills!). Somehow I reached the top and to my surprise it was a thick forest with no route, I was exhausted climbing (or running up rather), and to add to my misery there was no water to rehydrate myself. I was out of breath and water, started seeing black spots, but I had to complete the trek, so I started walking ahead trying to figure out a way into the thick forest. I had no intention to climb down the tough path I had just taken (a fall would mean serious damage). Thus went to explore the forest. Took a lot of rest as I was already exhausted and my mind was playing games with me (simple dried leaves looked like a wild animal) and I had to console myself that it was safe and kept walking slowly.

I just kept walking with the hope that, once I reach the top I can figure out a way back, jumping fallen trees and squeezing myself to get myself out of that thick forest.

I was dizzy and tired, I needed water so desperately. The Sun was also at its best, hitting the right target. So used a towel to cover my head to prevent the sun's ghory cruelty.

My Saviour...
I sat down for a while as my lips n mouth had gotten dry. I opened my backpack to try n see if I get something to quench my thirst and to my luck I found pomegranate seeds and started munching on them (a little sour, but had the water in it).. That kept me going.

I reached the top finally and it was beautiful. Clouds were passing the top of the mountain and it was mesmerizing. I felt that this scenery was worth all the risk and trouble.
Enjoyed the ups and downs of the path.

Once I reached the path I dint find anyone there, no noise at all. I walked on the path and to my luck found some used bottles (lucky because people have passed this route), so i went on the path for a good 30 mins and tried searching new routes to make it easier as the pomegranate seeds were almost consumed.

After walking for 45 mins, I heard a jeep pass by,yelled out whistled and made a lot of noise for them to respond, but tough luck, went towards the last heard noise and started walking towards it... and after sometime found the jeep track and asked one of the jeep guys the direction to the top. Once he showed the route, I started walking in the jeep track for a while then tried shortcuts :-)

Finally reached the peak and to my surprise many things had changed, what was once a haunted house had become a guest house, there were caretakers and a chef who helped me make my stay comfortable. Reached there and settled at 2 PM... Its a looong stay from there.. it was continuously drizzling and rained heavy in between. I rested (slept, watched a movie in my mobile) and then took bath in a cold water (brrr.. )cold weather and cold water aint a good combination.

Slugs
After freshening up went for a trek to the peak (had missed this last time). Mist was everywhere and it was close to zero visibility and windy too.. kept walking till I reached the highest peak (the temple), stayed here for a while, observed the sky, surroundings etc and was lost in it... the wind was carrying water (Mist) and because i stood against the wind there were droplets of water in my eye brows, eye lashes, my devil beard etc (couldn't take a picture as it was too windy and my mobile aint waterproof so din risk it). Got some cool snaps of wild life (2 slugs mating).

After standing there for a good 30-40 mins headed back in the slippery track to the guest house to rest (btw- there is another stay zone, never really stayed there as the owner doesn't allow single people to stay - says they might kill themselves, for people in group can try this place).

Guest house Panaroma

I reached the guest house and had a long time-pass chat with the caretaker, after a while the guesthouse was almost full, people (lots of people) came in and wanted to stay. Well it was fun watching people check rooms, examine the area, group chats etc. The time ran faster after this and had dinner and slept like a baby. (had a plan to get up early and try catching the sunrise- was tough as it was raining and cloudy all the time).
The Top...

Got up around 5:30 am and headed out to check if i get a glance, to my luck nothing was visible, still went to the top and got back around 7:30 am. Had a fast breakfast (lemon rice, and real yummy too) and decided to walk towards Nittur. The caretaker suggested to take a jeep and go as he will charge a minimal fare (was tempting as i had couple of falls and my legs were begging me to go in the jeep ).
Went to the Jeep area and checked if there was a seat, Luckily found one and told he is expecting the passengers to come around 9:15 am. so i waited as it was only a half an hour wait. it was more than an hour and people hadn't returned, i was almost dying of boredom (just waiting doing nothing, looking at the clock for the journey to begin).

Finally people showed up at 11am and we started our journey. Reached the bus stop at 11:30 am and boarded a bus to Shimoga (as the one to Bangalore was unavailable). Reached Shimoga and boarded the Bangalore bus. Enjoyed some mini meal and back to bengaluru @ 1am; boarded a local bus and reached home safe and sound.

Thank you For reading, Enjoy...

Heaven-whats inside the gates?

Entry or Exit??

Hi Guys…. How have you been???

Well today I wanted to talk about an interesting topic… The topic got interesting when my friend posed a wonderful question…

The Gates of Heaven

When I was a kid I always heard people talking about Heaven and its wonders… a place which has a big gate and St.Peter guarding it with names of those whom he has to permit and those he shouldn't… because he of all people had the key to the gates to heaven…

It sounded like a fairy tale… wonderful and magical….. Always pictured heaven as a place where people could live and be happy…
Stairway to Heaven!!

So why is the topic interesting all of a sudden?? Well because of the below question:
“This life we have, and we live, is providing everything we wished for… more than the necessary too…then when we get to heaven wont we feel bored? Coz we are living our heavens on earth?

Wow quite an excellent question I must say…

Think of it… we eat what we like whenever we want… play games whenever we want… all our wishes we fulfill and make new wishes to fulfill, so what then represents heaven?

Well I feel peace is the only thing we haven’t achieved or don’t work towards achieving it..But honestly if we die today and layback in heaven with peace works alone don’t you think we’ll get bored too soon?? Especially the new “WE”… tech addictive… mobiles everywhere even in our showers, updating social media sites all the time… hanging out virtually with everyone…

If this life is the actual heaven, then what do we have after life?  A question that got me thinking…

No one has actually witnessed heaven (I mean no info, as people who have seen it never return ;)

But I found some information where people have had visions or the ones in Coma have experienced Heaven (but honestly believing is the hardest thing) Like I used to tell... Even if Jesus returns and tells the world he is the one... How many of us can believe? We will be on to proving him false as all false workers like sadhus and other religious foolers get easy and fast promotions…

So if there is a Heaven and we believe it... does that make a difference for us?? Does Believing in Heaven open the gates after death? Is believing the sole key to open the gates of heaven?? Some questions to think upon...

I guess  it all comes down to B.E.L.I.E.F… F.A.I.T.H… and H.O.P.E……

Thanks for reading guys.. enjoy...

The Problem of Life – High Expectations

Hi Everyone…

Well have you ever experienced that people treat you different, your image is changed, life isn’t turning out to be as you thought??

That brings to the question, is it a problem with other people? Or your own?

It is debatable indeed, but I’ll put my opinion forward.
“A life without expectation is filled with surprises”

Let me start with a wise saying:

“A life without expectation is filled with surprises” - My mood always brightens up after reading this saying.

In life we have a lot of expectations (be it @ work getting praises, @ home waiting for a romantic gesture from your other half, @ life waiting for something to cheer you up), manier times theses expectation piles up one over the other.. you know what the worst part is… you’ll never be happy if any of those expectations got fulfilled, its only bcoz you will never know that you expected it once you receive it..

Life is growing shorter day-by-day, its taking away one thing at a time.. Few things changing us (people)

       1.       Love towards things and opp of love(i.e.carelessness, hatred etc) towards people
       2.     Code:- Family has been replaced to Code:- Money, Code:- Status etc
       3.       Respecting elder’s concept has started to fade away and become a joke.
       4.       People are being killed for as little as hurting ego, or for jealousy.

Well these things have changed life, but have our expectations??

1.       Why is it that we expect from others and nothing from self??
 2.       Why is it that we take people for granted (another form of expectations)?
 3.       Why is it that we feel people are supposed to be this and maintain that picture (when we know that people keep changing)?
 4.       Why is it that we are hooked on to stating what is good n bad?
 5.       Why is it that we are soo afraid to do mistakes (when we know that this is the best way to learn)?

We can go on asking questions and it can only help us wonder and nothing more than that.. We are never ready to change coz we think we are perfect and don’t need something called as ‘change’in life..
The Burden of Expectations!!

We are followers.. we follow others.. we do wat everyone does..
 1.       Love only those who love us.
 2.       Hang around only with people we care (no meeting new people)
 3.       Hate a group/ race which you don’t like and make a group and hate them as a group.

So how do we lower our expectation?? Excellent question but can we find an answer..

“There are two ways to be happy: improve your reality or lower your expectations.”
This emphasizes more on having realistic expectations and appreciating it once its achieved.
Explains to:
a.       Raise Goals
b.      Lower expectation (Expect less, learn more and absorb the new perspectives)
c.       Share your laughter (Laughter is meant to be contagious. It is intended to be shared. It is a gift that you can give to others and in the process you are giving something back to yourself. Make it an integral part of the strategy to achieve your goals to include a healthy dose of laughter. If you have forgotten how to make other people laugh, begin by making them smile. Set a goal for yourself to see how many consecutive days that you can make someone else smile. Exercise your sense of humor regularly and it will give you momentum to achieve your goals.)

Life is beautiful… We miss a lot of things and we’re ok with it..
   1.       The way clouds move..
   2.       The way Nature takes care of itself.
   3.       The way life teaches you to make mistake and learn
   4.       The presence of the divine on top of a cliff and in silence amidst the nature
   5.       The way animals reflect to one another in the nature..

Yes these are also important but we make it a point to give all our importance to work, clients, business proposals etc and the only change that makes us feel good is a job change…

We should learn to accept that life is more than just that.

Anywho.. It was nice typing this piece as it felt that I need to set my expectation towards the other side of me now.. the NATURal side of me ;)

Thanks for ready enjoy your day…

'Go Green', Green = Money / Earth??

"The earth is what we all have in common."

A Question - Why “Go Green”?
Why Go Green

Go Green’ sounds so healthy and reassuring that the world will not end… but… as usual even that green has caught dirt all over it.

When we say let’s go green does it answer few questions?
·         Does it benefit mother earth or only us?
·         Does it mean we are not constructing more buildings but utilizing the ones already existing?
·         Does it mean we use minimum resources in a way to get maximum output?
·         Does it mean that we are willing to sacrifice our 1000 percent comfort for our/ our children’s better future?

Nope.. It doesn’t mean anything… by simply putting up ‘green’ it turns into a marketing strategy, when in reality, they aren’t doing any great efforts to conserve nature… It doesn’t mean they aren’t helping… yes they are… but nothing greeny… only conserving green (Moolah, Money, Rupaiya)…

I’d say they are better than other companies who harm the nature.. but still doesn’t deserve ‘green’….

Do We need Super Hero's to do stuff for us?

My colleague once quoted George Carlin's Dialogue - "Mother earth doesn’t need to be taken care of… it’ll wipe us all out and take care of itself… well maybe.. but do we wait for it to happen?"

If we believe in the concept that death is anyways gonna come to us, then why live… why eat food, play or exercise? We all are future oriented but no one (I mean NO ONE) wants to take initiative to save nature….

How do we save nature? A right question, but do we have an answer… I’d love it if you could give suggestions.. Few things running my mind are:

  • Give more importance to Agriculture ( we spend soo much on marketing a product, when the rule is if its good it’ll sell itself, why waste money on it if u can get goodwill by investing in farming)
  • Show to the world that farming is a nice business (people don’t run behind success, they run behind money, and if they know there’s money in agriculture then things change…)
  • Make sure farmers get more than they’ve asked for… it’ll help them stay motivated which’ll help us stay alive and healthy…(we don’t even have to ask for food to be imported)
  • Encourage Gardening… more trees/plants help us.. (in limits of course, but looking at the present state its better if we start becoming serious about it).
  • Stop Building new buildings.. stop using land to construct (wow…this seems soo impssible)
  • Do What Japanese do (bamboo houses and products readily available from nature no conversion process involved hence no pollution).
  • Water in river and sea are built in such a way that they have the ability to clean themselves but nature can do only soo much.. if we add impurities more than the river, sea etc can take how’ll they clean themselves?
  • Switch to Cycling (reduced traffic, body fat & increases stamina)

It’s very easy to say.. but difficult to implement.. I understand that bit… but if we have to make a change then we have to be that change… But at least better than telling around that we are going green but letting the Farmers hang themselves or try and steal the land from them…

Nature (Earth) has been here from a loooong time even before us. It will be there even after us. So what is it that is actually bothering us? Earth can handle itself, There are a lot worse things happening to the earth (Tsunami, Earthquake , Volcano etc). When the earth feels that we are threats then it’ll have its own mechanism to get rid of the threat and live on. Moreover everything has a dead end.. all living things do die…. So how long do you feel Earth is going to last? This is another topic for another time.

To Summarize, Go Green is not converting buildings to greener or giving 5 star ratings to products, it is helping to develop a better future for the future( I don’t mean that all the greener buildings or the 5 star rated products are useless, just that the word ‘green’ doesn’t resemble what’s being done… coz it ain’t green).

So the question is… are we ready to actually ‘GO GREEN’??

What do you say… do we have what it takes? Can we crack this? Is reverse development possible??

We’ve heard about reverse innovation, reverse psychology etc… lets add another word to our dictionaries “Reverse Development”….

Thank you for your help...

Phase of Life: 'Missing Something'

“Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, Faith looks up”

Missing something....
Hi,

Have you ever felt you are missing ‘something’?? But the search only ends at ‘something’; coz u can’t figure out, what is it that you are missing??

Well am going through that phase right now… it’s like, when you are all set and ready to go, suddenly you feel that you are forgetting something… it’s that kinda feeling…

How does one overcome that feeling? Or wait, does anyone need to overcome that feeling? Ah that’s a better question…

Hmmm I don’t know… and quite frankly, thinking about the solution makes me dig deeper as to what is it that am missing, and it goes on….

So I tried my usual therapy methods, distraction, avoiding, thinking something interesting, planning a vacation, etc, but all in vain…

I even questioned myself, to check if I can get any answers…

Is it my past?

Is it my present?

Is it something in me?

Is it something about me?

Is it something to do with a place or a thing?

Nope I don’t get it…

And then it occurred to me I don’t have to understand everything in life… I just have to live it... Then why waste time thinking? It’ll come to me when the time is right….

So I decided “enjoy the feeling… instead of thinking and solving the problem….enjoy it… the secret is the solution to any problem hits you, when u least expect it ssshhhh”.

Whenever we are having fun, time flies, but whenever we are tensed/sad/worried, time goes sluggish…

So am just gonna smile whenever I think about the ‘something’, and move on…

Thank you…Keep smiling J
